Mother's day card

This morning I wanted to try out a new technique that I saw on this fabulous website I really {heart} this site for all the new techniques that I get to try : Split coast stampers

Once I embossed in green... I figured that hey there's a few challenges that I could enter this in.  And I used my brand new little butterflies bought at Srapenmasse on Wednesday. Here's my little creation:

So to make this I used a cuttlebug embossing folder with green distress ink and cardstock from Dollarama, and my little butterflies are made with  Doilies & Exotic Dies - Exotic butterfly small (but hard to make the holes in the wings I believe the card stock might have been too thick or using my cuttlebug was not the best tool for this).

Here are the challenges that I will enter with this card:
Flutter by wednesdays - Spring time and use of butterflies
Divas by design challenge - Use favorite things (here I used my embossing folder from Cuttlebug love those as well as the distress ink to make the green background and I used the embossing technique for the mother's day sign)
Totally stampalicious - Spring design
Paper sundaes - Green
Card crafters circle - orange & green
Simon says stamps - mother's day

Hope you like my little creation.  I will definetly be back with more today ;)  Last day of spring break here and my vacation :(  went by tooo fast but will definetly use this time to craft.

Voici une petite carte que j'ai fait afin d'utiliser une nouvelle technique que j'ai apprise en regardant un site internet.  Tellement agréable d'apprendre des nouvelles choses.
