Happy b-day!

I was away at my in-laws for the beginning of the week.  It's our school break and I was on vacation with the family ( hubby and 4 kids ;) ) and yes they are all mine and my hubby.  Since I couldn't do any cards (tooo hard to bring everything) I went browsing for stuff on the net.  Challenges and ideas as well as material.  I used my time to color 4 images (the other 3 to come in the following days), shopping on greeting farm for new stamps as well as on E-bay.  I also visited some blogs.  But that can get pretty intimidating... mine being so new and others are sooo fancy.

I'm happy to be back at home now and I managed to use the image that I stamped and colored using copics as well as colored pencils with "Julie" from Kraftin kimmie stamps.  It was perfect for the b-day card that I made for my dad.  And guess what there are some challenges that required just that ;)  So killing a few birds with 1 stone.

Catch the bug - Anything goes
Stamptacular Sunday - 4 words or more text (thank god in French it takes us long to say Happy b-day ;) )

I'm really happy with the results.  Hope you all like this.  And I'm noticing that I'm putting buttons all over the place now lol I never used them before... what's going on ;)
